| Description |

| BESTOTHERM oils are heat-transferring fluids developed from special mineral oils for use in industrial applications. These oils are furnished with additives for protecting against oxidation and to provide improved thermal stability to the oil. This oil possess low vapour pressure and low volatility to give long trouble free service life to well designed heat transfer systems. These are available in three grades namely light, medium and special. |

| Application |

| BESTOTHERM light and medium are recommended for well-designed heat transfer systems operating up to 250oC and 300oC respectively. BESTOTHERM special are premium heat transferring fluids, which provides superior oil performance even to temperature operating up to 315oC in well-designed heat transfer systems. However in open heat transfer systems it is advisable to operate under the temperatures below the flash point, which is also noted in this bulletin. For efficient use of the fluid, it must be used in closed heat transfer systems operating under forced circulation principles. |

| Performance |
|
| These oils have excellent thermal conductivity and very high specific heat. It has very low toxicity and thereby protecting the equipment. The additive provided gives excellent thermal and oxidation stability thereby preventing deposits on the equipment walls. |
