Description
BESTLUB EP are hypoid gear oils containing extreme pressure additive and have long service life due to their extremely good oxidation stability. These oils meet API service classification GL - 4, IS: 1118-1992, UK and US Military standards MIL -L- 2105 defense specification CS-3000 A. These are multipurpose extreme pressure lubricants containing highly refined base, oxidants, selected additives which provide excellent anti corrosion and antiwear properties. These oils are available in gear oil SAE classification 90, 140, 85 W 140. However other grades like 75W, 80 W, 80 W 90 can be made available on customer demands.
 
Application
BESTLUB EP is recommended for hypoid, spiral level or worm-gear transmission system of Cars, Buses and Trucks requiring E.P. type lubricants. 85 W 140 has very low pour point and can be used for power transmission units operating under sub zero temperatures. These oils are recommended for other industrial equipments, which have recommendation for API-GL 4 type oil. Excellent performance has been reported while used in equipments, which have recommendation for API GL - 1, API GL 2, API GL 3 type oils.
 
Performance
Due to the high performance of BESTLUB EP, these find extensive use in fleets as it reduce the inventory and perform well upto API GL 4 recommendation. These are found to have high performance even at elevated temperature of operation without damage to the oil and the engine components. However it is advisable to select the correct SAE specifications required as per the equipment manufacturer recommendation.
