| Description |
| BESTLUB trance oils are formulated with highly refined solvent extracted base oils to meet the requirements of transmission lubrication requirements. They are sub divided in to basically 2 types. They are BESTLUB trance –3 type and BESTLUB trance – 4 type the former meets the requirements of Detroit Diesel Allison type C –3 and the latter meets the requirements of Detroit Diesel Allison type C – 4. |
| C –4 type has better properties than the C-3 type since they have longer life the new generation recommends only C-4 type. They are available in SAE grades 10, 20, 30 & 40. These varieties are provided to permit proper viscosity selection under varying condition to the user. |
| Trance – 4 grade transmission oils are formulated to meet TES-228 specification for hydraulic transmission fluid type C-4 of Detroit Diesel Allison type C – 4.they are recommended for all commercial power shift transmissions, industrial torque converters which operate under heavy duty conditions .Trace – 3 can be used in the same places as above but working under moderate conditions. |
| It has extensive service result in both on high way and off high way heavy duty transmissions especially in the transmission manufactured by Detroit diesel Allison |
| Trance – 4 is formulated with the inclusion of the latest inhibitor type additives it was found very superior in non asbestos clutch friction test, Fluroelastomer seal compatibility test etc. this is also enriched with superior quality anti corrosion requirements also |
| Trance – 3 type oils are compatible with any places were in Allision C1, C2, C3 is recommended. While Trance – 4 type oils are compatible with any places were in Allision C1, C2, C3 C 4 is recommended. Howe ever for longer drain periods Trance – 4 type is recommended. Because of its lower pricing structure trance 30 is used in many cases. However with the use of an higher performance trance – 4 type the drain periods can be even doubled than these conventional oils. Hence oil conservationist recommends higher performance oils, which will have only marginal increase in prices than the conventional type. |
